Dilip Advani is a private investor and is a seasoned executive with broad experience in all aspects of company management in India and the United States. He has over 25 years of investing and operating experience in senior and corporate level positions with a variety of successful companies in a wide range of industries, including financial services, software, information technology services, information technology-enabled services, telecommunications and engineering. Throughout his extensive career, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to strengthen management, refocus strategy, improve operations, build cash flow, and negotiate and close transactions. Most recently, he was with The Chatterjee Group, where he played a leading role in managing the Group's portfolio companies and served on the boards of directors of several such companies. In these capacities, he had substantial responsibility for numerous operating companies, including OPI Inc., Equinox Inc, Fi-Tek LLC, LabVantage Solutions Inc., Motif Inc., Quotient Engineering Inc., SkyTECH Solutions Private Limited and TCGIvega Information Technologies Private Limited. Prior to joining The Chatterjee Group, Mr. Advani was executive vice president of Ply Gem Industries Inc., an acquisition-driven holding company, where he managed the company's subsidiary operations. From 1983 to 1989, Mr. Advani was a consultant at McKinsey & Company Inc. where he directed major strategy and organization assignments for multinational companies. Previously, Mr. Advani was president of Applied Data Inc., a data processing service bureau. Mr. Advani currently is a member of the board of directors of OPI Inc, Tabyet LLC, Christodora Inc. (a non-sectarian organization offering education and training to low-income students in New York City) and the Indo-American Arts Council Inc. Mr. Advani received a B.S. from Sydenham College and an M.B.A. in finance and general management from Amos Tuck School (Dartmouth College).
