Chandrika Tandon

Ms. Tandon is Chairman of Tandon Capital Associates, Inc. an advisory and investment firm founded in 1992. Prior to this, she spent eleven years at McKinsey and Company, five of them as a partner, and has, over the years, worked with senior management in some of the most prominent banking, insurance, and securities industry entities in the world. Some of her clients include the Chase Manhattan Corporation, Comerica, Unibanco (Brazil), Suncorp-Metway Ltd. (Australia), Fleet Financial Group/ Bank of America, Rabobank and ABN Amro. Chandrika has worked on issues of global and domestic strategy, organization, core process/performance improvement and broad-based culture change, and is therefore ideally placed to developing IAAC's presence.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Chandrika worked for Citibank in currency trading, operations, and branch management. She graduated from the Madras Christian College in India and received a Post Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, India.

Chandrika is a contributor to many philanthropic causes and has a deep interest in livelihood creation for the underprivileged-especially women-and in the performing arts. She is a Board Member and Trustee of the American India Foundation, chairing the initiative to create sustainable livelihoods among the rural and urban poor in India. She has also founded the League of Artisans program, the mission of which is to create a unifying platform to build sustainable business enterprises in the craft sector. She is on the Board of the Indo American Arts Council, an organization devoted to promoting awareness of India influenced art forms in the US.
