The IAAC is a 501©3 not-for-profit arts organization passionately dedicated to celebrating, showcasing, promoting and building an awareness of artists from the Indian subcontinent in the performing, visual and literary arts. We are primarily a volunteer organization and manage our exciting events through equally passionate, dedicated volunteers and interns.
Interns and volunteers learn unbelievably exciting skills by working hands on on all projects, become part of a warm, inviting, friendly, cooperative family, and are encouraged to attend all IAAC events free of charge. All Interns are thanked and acknowledged for their specific responsibilities in our event brochures. Interns must realize there is a lot of grunge work as well as glamorous fun stuff.
Interns may receive college credit and are given metrocards for travel to and from the IAAC. Interns are paired with mentors who ensure the experience is mutually gainful for both parties.
