Synopsis:
Four musicians and their music float through the rooms of a crumbling old mansion in old Delhi, where the band, Indian Ocean comes together with their many moods, traditions and musical explorations. A glimpse into the creative process of musicians as they work on a film score. Beware Dogs offers fascinating insight into the collective-mind of Indian Ocean, following the musicians of this groundbreaking Delhi-based rock band over the course of a single day. Director: Spandan Banerjee
Since 2003, under his independent banner Overdose, Spandan Banerjee has been making short, documentary, and narrative films. His films have been shown at film festivals in Spain, Finland and Pakistan.
Beware Dogs has toured the international film festivals in Rotterdam, Montreal, Barcelona, and London. His first and latest narrative film is titled The Fiction (2008. selected by 10th Osian's Festival of Asian & Arab Cinema, India is also being screened at this festival. He is currently working on his first feature length film The Golden Triangle and documentary English/India. |
