VIJAY IYER (Composer)
Vijay Iyer was voted #1 Rising Star Artist and #1 Rising Star Composer in the 2006 Downbeat International Critics Poll. His recent albums include Reimagining, Simulated Progress, Raw Materials, and Still Life with Commentator. He received the 2003 CalArts Alpert Award in the Arts and a 2006 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship.
