At the Gala screening and world premiere of the eagerly anticipated The Last Lear, director, Rituparno Ghosh, revealed that the film "almost didn't make it" to TIFF. "We have not seen the final print," he told the Roy Thompson Hall audience. "We will see it with you today for the first time."
