Saawariya for Opening Night at Mahindra IAAC Film Festival 2007

The 7th Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival has been announced by Indo-American Arts Council, Inc. The Film Festival will be a 5 day event from 7 to 11 November 2007.
Saawariya by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been selected for the opening night screen on 7 November at Loews 42nd Street, Times Square, NYC. Some of the other movies to be screened during the festival are The Last Year, Valley of Flowers, Apna Asmaan and Gandhi My Father.
Earlier in July this year, IAAC had announced its partnership with Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd, India's automobile giant and a leading tractor manufacturer for the Mahindra IAAC Film Festival.
IAAC has also bagged sponsorship from Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey and SAAVN for the event that promises to bring a wide variety of South Asian and Bollywood films during the 5 day event at some of the prestigious venues across Manhattan. |
