It was truly a book-to-film affair at Newmarket's party in New York City for Devyani Saltzman's new memoir, Shooting Water (May 1). Saltzman—whose book chronicles her on-set experience during the making of Water, a controversial film about Indian widows set in the 1930s and directed by her mother, Deepa Mehta—sopped to pose with those involved with both the film and the book.
