Goals: The goals and objectives of the Annual IAAC Festival are

- To create an annual festival that will provide a common platform for choreographies and works that are based on dance forms from South Asia with high standards of quality and artistic excellence.
- To reach out to new audiences and nurture understanding and appreciation for Indian dance among diverse audiences - diverse in socio-economic and cultural backgrounds and age groups
- To provide a forum for interaction and dialogue amongst dancers, dance scholars, researchers, writers and critics.
- To present an annual platform for emerging dancers to perform, learn, grow and to highlight new works of established artists
- To provide opportunities for professional development to dancers
- To provide a forum for exchange and collaboration where South Asian dancers can interact with mainstream and other dancers , choreographers, and dance companies
- To help develop credibility for the Indian performing art forms within the broader global dance and performing arts community
