Bhuvaneshwari Bhagat

Bhuvaneshwari Bhagat has been learning Carnatic music since the age of 7 from her guru in many forms, her mother, Ms. Kamala Seetharaman. She was born and raised in Hyderabad, India and has been a Radio artist. She has performed on various stages including the Interfaith Center in NYC with the
storyteller Ms. Laura Simms. Ms. Bhuvaneshwari especially enjoys singing the unique collection of songs by the 13th century poet Saint Jayadeva. Saint Jayadeva's famous compositions are Ashtapadis- a collection of 24 songs exclusively written on Lord Krishna and His consort Radha. These are written
in rich Sanskrit verses and each song has eight couplets (even suitable for dancing).

Bhuvaneshwari Bhagat is a professional Marriage and Family Counselor in NYC and is currently working on her first CD.
