A story of 5 passengers travelling in a night train across India. A family, a single man, and a woman belonging to the underprivileged class, with twin babies. A middle class compartment is gripped with mob mentality, and the atmosphere becomes tense when one of the babies dies. Dark and claustrophobic, powered by an inescapable dread, Saanjh is a classic modern folklore with moral implications about class, caste, and cultural differences.
