The National Museum of the American Indian - New York, is located on the south side of Bowling Green, in lower Manhattan, adjacent to the northeast corner of Battery Park.

Subway
4 & 5 trains to Bowling Green
1 train to Rector Street or South Ferry
R train to Whitehall Street
J & Z trains to Broad Street
2 & 3 trains to Wall Street

Bus
M5, M15, and M20.

The South Asia Institute is located at Knox Hall, in Rooms 213 - 219, at 606 West 122nd Street, between Broadway and Claremont. By subway, take the #1 local train to the 116th Street station, which is adjacent to the main entrance to the Columbia campus, or to the 125th Street Station. Alternately, take the #2 or #3 express train to the 96th Street station, and transfer to the local #1 train. (Note: after 96th Street, the #2 and #3 train travel east and away from the Columbia campus.)
