Ronald Rand (Co-producer)
is the Founder/Publisher/Editor-in Chief of “The Soul of the American
Actor,” the most respected Newspaper in America today about the art
and craft of the actor and the art of the theatre. (www.SoulAmericanActor.com)
An acclaimed actor/playwright, he continues to perform his solo
play, Clurman, directed by Gregory Abels, throughout New York City and
across America, and he has just been invited to perform the play in
the Georgian International Festival of the Arts in Tiblisi in May, 2005.

His play, The Group! about the life of the famed Group Theatre
has its world premiere at Northern Illinois University this past February.
As an actor he has appeared opposite Richard Dreyfuss in Julius Caesar
at BAM, Off-Broadway in Perfect Crime, and as the Fool in a 6
country European tour of King Lear. He also appeared with Alan
Bates, Marian Seldes, and Eli Wallach in the TIPA Poetry Series. His
film and television credits include Emperor’s Club, In & Out, Quiz
Show directed by Robert Redford, A Marriage: O’Keefe & Steiglitz
opposite Jane Alexander and Christopher Plummer, and Homeless
opposite Yoko Ono. Mr. Rand also produced the Libby Skala’s internationally
acclaimed solo play, Lilia! at The Players, and A Tribute
to Robert Whitehead & Harold Clurman at the Stella Adler Studio
of Acting. This fall at The Players he will also be presenting Vivien
Leigh with Janis Stevens, John Rothman in The Impossible H.L. Mencken,
Andrea Reese in Cirque Jacqueline: Behind the Façade of Jackie
O… & An Evening of Exceptional Women Poets with Ruby Dee, Sandy
Rochelle & Irene O’Garden.
