Artist TasneemShahzad
Tasneem, an icon in the field of art was born at Peshawar Pakistan He received his formal education at Peshawar University Pakistan but was initiated into the world of art by his accomplished father. He has participated in numerous exhibitions & got many prestigious & reputed awards.
For Tasneem , painting came as an inheritance from his father Late M. M. Bashir a commercial artist, but the son turned the art compositions on painting, Graphic Art (print making) and photography
TasneemShahzad is an Artist from Pakistan is a talented print maker, Artist, Batik, Designer, Commercial Artist, Decoration, Textile Designer, Photography, press printing, Jewelry designer, Stain Glass, Print maker & Fabric Painter from Pakistan. Some People are born artist, some learn to excel to the zenith through sheer hard work, while these are very few who are God gifted born artist, and utilize their national talent to attain mastery of more than are discipline of this highly creative in field.
Tasneem was selected to include in a major exhibition of Pakistan print maker & painters in use in 1994, his Print & painting is illustrated in color. We felt that Tasneem works makes an important contribution in the context of contemporary art in Pakistan and USA. The artist who hails from Peshawar is now based in New York .He come to this world capital city some 11 years back when he was offered a permanent residence in the United State by the American government in recognition of this extraordinary artist talent.
Tasneem has already established himself as an exhibiting work artist with impressive credentials.His work has been exhibited in many galleries in U.S. Tasneem is dedicated to his art and to Continued work and development.
Tasneem do prints, Photograph and batik but his special interest lies in graphic and print making from woodcuts and linocut, He has matured in juxtaposing his sharps and colorful landscape and acquired mastery in distribution of space balance of shapes and strength of lines in creating graphic with architectural motifs capsuling alluring events in photograph may be a bone to most but to Tasneem, the award wining composition to appear right before his lenses.
His love affair with the lens and his enthusiasm moved him to join several photography Competition in which he repeatedly won prizes in varying categories both at home and abroad.
He has been to several countries for study. Since graduating in Fine Arts form University of Peshawar Pakistan
Tasneem, s passion with Fine Arts has taken him to Italy, France, Russia, Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh and
the United State to attain excellence in his skill and which he did with flying colors. In Italy he received a diploma in marble & stone and graphic arts while in he received special training in painting,
So far his art works have been display at more than 120 exhibitions both in Pakistan and several other countries & 40 solos shows even since his arrival in the United States & other countries, his works have been exhibited at more than 10 countries. He participated in an international groups exhibition of paintings in New York in 2000 to present
Tasneem’s unusual spirit of sharing his rich experience with others has not died down in the US either, as he says he is willing to train and open an art gallery and school in New York in Future
