ARTIST STATEMENT

My current work focuses on expressing the essential inner freedom that can be a source of strength for all people, despite worldly circumstances - an inner freedom that can enliven our social conscience, our relationships to others.

Working in an abstract way helps me to explore these themes without being literal, and is complementary to my other practices of cultivating personal awareness and growth including yoga and the study of spiritual concepts.
