Shes worked at the trend-setting
Café Spice and for Tommy Tang
at the Mondrian hotel; she has also appeared on the
Food Channels Good Food Live
Show. Now, Anjum Anand, author of INDIAN EVERY
DAY: LIGHT, HEALTHY INDIAN FOOD will be in New York (from London)
the week of April 19th to discuss her enlivened approach to Indian
cuisine, fusing all the appeal of savory traditional ingredients
with healthy contemporary recipes.
Anjums
given the Indian food we love a bright new taste fresher,
healthier, simpler. Using the traditional ingredients and the
fragrant spices, she turns them into light, balanced dishes that
sing with the home-style flavors she adores. With everyone thinking
low-carb, with spring and summer weather (and lighter clothing)
just around the corner, the emphasis is on everything healthy
.
