Digital Media Production Intern

| Indo American Arts Council’s Erasing Borders Festival of Indian Dance is seeking Digital Media Production Interns for their 2017 season Indoor and Outdoor Festival. Interns will be expected to work on multiple assignments with an emphasis on developmental strategies as well as internal organization. Interns must be responsible for working with minimal supervision and completing projects on a deadline. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with detailed accuracy. Applicants must currently reside in NYC and have a strong command of English. This is an opportunity to have your work be used in advertising for what is today the most reputed South Asian Dance Festival in all of North America. |
| Requirements: |
- Applicants must commit to 5-7 months with flexible and cooperative working hours.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator a must
- Video editing skills using Final cut pro, iMovie etc is a must
- Decent writing skills
- Priority will be given to those with experience in designing and Video editing and who are pursuing or have completed their college education
