» Wrote over 40 stage
plays and eight TV serials, mostly on human rights themes such
as peace, women's rights, religious tolerance, environment, family
planning, good governance and honour killings.
» Two collections of
my plays in Urdu and Punjabi have been published.
» His plays have been
performed in India, Bangladesh, UK, Nepal, Hong Kong and Iran.
» As 2001 Feuchtwanger/International
Pen/Getty fellow in US, worked on English translations, staged
readings and performances of several of my plays. Also worked
on some new plays.
» During 2001, gave
talks at various California institutions including: UCLA, USC,
UC Irvine, UCSB, ASK Theatre Projects, OTIS College, 18th Street
Arts Complex, International Pen and International Centre for Creative
Writing and Translation.
» Visited the US again
in September-October 2002. Spoke at the Western Humanities Alliance
Conference at UC Irvine in September 2002. Also gave talks at
UC Riverside, UCSD, UCLA, Stanford, Berkley, Pen State and Columbia.

and Peace Commission and exhibited worldwide. Was selected as
part of the South Asian Documentaries Festival in 2000-2001.
» Pakistan TV drama

overseas Pakistanis, shot on locations in US,UK, France. Kenya,
Nepal and Turkey. Shown in 1995.

drama series "Airport"
shown in 2004.
» Telefilm "Mujahid"
on the reintegration of two jehadi friends (2003).

"Jawaz" on Panchayat sanctioned killings
