Dipti Mehta:
Is an actor writer director based in NYC. She is originally from Mymbai-India where she worked extensively in theatre, radio, TV and film industry. Some of her recent credits include "Red Corvette", "It's all been arranged" and "Victory". She is currently starring in off broadway production of "Bollywood Wedding" and "Honour”. Playing Reina in Life!Camera Action has been a dream come true for Dipti. She is really thrilled to be a part of this film.
Noor Naghmi:
began his career as a child actor at the age of seven, in the first ever children’s play for PTV Lahore, in 1964. Noor continued working in South East Asia and later made his life in America, where he has accumulated several film credits including – ‘THE SENTINEL’ which starred Michael Douglas and Eva Langoria, ‘TARANA’ with Rani and Waheed Murad, and ‘KHUSHBOO’ with Shahid and Mumtaz. Later he acted in and produced the feature film, ‘WHITE GOLD’ starring Mohammad Ali and Vajeera.
Noor is affiliated with many theater groups in Washington, DC where he created memorable characters and starred in plays such as ‘ON THE HILL’, ‘TAKHT LAHORE’, ‘GREEN CARD’, ‘AMREECA CHALO’ and ‘THE TRIAL OF DARA SHIKOH’. Most recently he was cast in the films; ‘IT'S ALL BEEN ARRANGED’, TOOLBOX BANDIT’ and ‘BIG BULLY BANK’ . He also has had the pleasure of working on NBC’s Debbie Allan project, ‘MY PARENTS, MY SISTER AND ME’ Naghmi is the founder of Phoenix Rising Media Group where he has produced and directed a wide variety of programs for PTV, ARY, NTM, ZEE TV and MHZ including the series, ‘MIRZA GHALIB’, ‘JUNOON’ and ‘AMREECA CHALO’, a weekly magazine show ‘NEW HORIZON’ for MHZ. A graduate from the American Academy of Dramatic Art - New York, he also studied TV and film production at the American University - Washington, DC. Noor Naghmi is a proud member of the ‘Screen Actors Guild’ (SAG) and a member of SAG’s National Low Budget Film Committee.
Shaheed Woods:
"A young man born in Jersey City, Shaheed K Woods was destined for greatness. He gained the gift for impressions as a child, and still cultivates and develops this gift to this day. Shaheed has done several film and theatre productions and looks to break into television. He is also a talented stand-up comedian, and took on the name BiGSHA. Shaheed “BiGSHA” Woods is an individual with a great spirit and a passion for his craft. He lives currently in New Jersey, and is looking to bring his recently finished screenplay to life."
John Crann:
Co-starred in “The Nothing Man” winning best short film 2010 Alabama International Film Festival. John starred in “Men's Affair” competing at numerous film festivals including the 2009 Cairo International in Egypt. John served on the screenplay committee for the 2010 Nantucket Film Festival
Swati Kapila:
Is an NYU alumna and a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild. As an actress and dancer in New York City, her recent Film/TV credits include character roles in “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” the independent film “Father’s Day” and appearances on The N Network.
Chelsi Stahr:
Has over 25 years of theatre, music, film, and broadcast credits to her career. She earned a BFA in Theatre from Utah State and is currently active in the New York film and theatre markets, on stage and in voiceover and commercial broadcast production.
