Synopsis: Reina, a young, Indian-American woman, sets off to pursue a career in filmmaking against the wishes of her family. She struggles to complete her annual film project, working double shifts at an Indian restaurant and a DVD store.  Reina eventually begins to see the need to reach out to her estranged parents as she begins to discover herself.


Director Rohit Gupta: Rohit Gupta, originally from Mumbai, India, entered the film world with no prior film experience. His first feature, Life! Camera Action grew out of his10-minute semester project at the New York Film Academy. Rohit shot Life! Camera Action... in a week and a half with a crew of two people and a shoe-string budget. He edited the film over the course of nine months, splitting post-production work between Mumbai and New York City. The film recently won the Award Of Merit -Feature Film 2010 at California’s Indie Fest.
