The 10th Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival will be concluding on 14th November with the screening of Dileep Mehta directed movie Cooking With Stella. It will be screened on 14th November evening at 6pm after red carpet and cocktails at 5:00 pm.

Cooking With Stella stars Seema Biswas, Don McKeller and Lisa Ray in the lead roles. The story of the film is about a Canadian diplomat (played by Lisa Ray) and her hubby (played by Don McKellar), who are living in New Delhi with their cook Stella (played by Seema Biswas). Stella is brilliant at creatively padding her salary.

Stella becomes ‘cooking guru’ of Michael, who learns many important lessons from her, including wonderful traditional South Indian cooking. But the cozy domestic set-up implodes with the entry of an honest nanny in their household.

Director Dilip Mehta is brother of renowned filmmaker Deepa Mehta. She has co-written the story of the movie with her brother.

Even though the film is a comedy, writer-director Dilip Mehta terms it to be a ‘very issue-driven’ movie. Cooking With Stella has been shot in New Delhi. It has total duration of 104 minutes.
