'Shorr' was the opening night film last week at the largest South Asian festival in the U.S. and received a standing ovation from the audience and media.

The premiere was attended by Ekta Kapoor, director-duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK (Flavours, 99), actors Tusshar Kapoor, Sendhil Ramamurthy (of the hit TV series Heroes and Covert Affairs fame)and Balaji Motion Pictures CEO Tanuj Garg.
