Ms. Sabira Merchant completed her education in liberal arts from Switzerland and got her first major breakthrough in Theatre Group's "The World". It was followed by "The Wild Duck", "Tughlaq", "Duet for one", "The Idiot", "Winter Set" and many more.

For her role of Blanche Dubois in "A Street Car Named Desire" she bagged the All India Critics' Award. In the BBC production "Six Steps to Happiness" she played the enchanting role of Madame Manaeksha. She has also acted in Hindi Films, which includes "Trikal" by Shyam Benegal.

Her latest stage presentation, "The Rummy Game" is a bitter, sweet, comedy which has already received rave reviews.

Ms. Merchant enjoys reading, listening to music, travelling, cooking & spending time with her family.

Her other activities include holding regular workshops on speech, diction, public speaking, etiquette, communication skills, confidence & stage presence. She also lectures at the SNDT University besides holding sessions for top managerial staff of Corporate and Business Houses like the Taj Group of Hotels, The Jindal Corporation and Owens Corning. Besides managers and executives, lawyers, doctors, enterpreneurs and media people have attended her training programmes.

Earlier she had worked on a variety of programmes for radio and television. In the 70's she became very popular after her TV quiz programme, "What's the good word?" ran for a record breaking 15 years on Doordarshan.

For some years now she has also been training the contestants of "Femina Miss India" and her students have represented India at various International beauty pageants.

Hosi Vasunia has been associated with English Theatre for about 3 decades in Mumbai (India). His productions stand for quality and excellent production values.

He is an actor, director & producer & over the years has become a household name & a living legend in Mumbai. He has taken his productions all over India (Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, etc.) and also to East Africa, Singapore, and Dubai since the 1980s.

He is known as the Master of Comedy and his productions have the best of English theatre talent in terms of actors, actresses and directors like the famous Alyque Padamsee and the late Pearl Padamsee, to name a few. He has been regularly having shows in Dubai of some of his plays like: Don't dress for dinner, A flea in her ear, Ah Norman, Run for your wife and many more including some adaptations of famous Broadway plays like Barefoot in the park etc.

He has produced a great variety of comedies, dramas and musicals (Sound Of Music, My Fair Lady) and he is also a winner of State Award for theatre. He is an associate of the National Centre for the Performing Arts (N.C.P.A.) in Mumbai and is responsible for live events like the prestigious ANNUAL SCREEN AWARDS.
