Our project has been to help underprivileged children & youth in becoming economically self-supporting, self-supporting. For this, we first impart training in vocational skills & business practices. Then, we provide micro credit facility to them for starting a mini enterprise like, tea/ sandwich, vending, stove / Cycle repairing, Umbrella making / repairing, etc.
Now with the sole objective of raising funds for Project Mainstream, the producers of the acclaimed English play, The Rummy Game, have agreed to perform in UK. The Rummy game is an adaptation of the Pulitzer prize winning play, The Gin Game, by D.L.Coburn. Its a bittersweet comedy with two stalwarts of the English Theatre, Sabira Merchant & Hosi Vasunia, enacting the lead roles. Relish this delightful
play and lend a helping hand to the street children of Mumbai. |
