A proud South African and an even prouder Capetonian I completed my matriculation in South Africa and hence pursed to India to further my studies in classical dance in Chennai India.

I Guess fate had something else bigger knocking at me door.

Being married to the very talented percussionist of India, Sivamani I've had the privilege of meeting with the crème de le crème of the fashion, music, corporate and film industry in India. This exposure triggered my fascination into grooming, styling myself. I remember how important it would be when I would sit down with my tailor and conceptualize an outfit.

I never studied fashion designing but my love for clothes; colors always motivated me to learn more from my designer friends and the wonderful world of the internet and television. This is how Auhra started manifesting. I wanted to conceptualize a line of clothes for women. I do believe in today's times, challenges are increasing and as a woman we have no time of going into complicated wardrobes. I decided to work with a team that will help me create a line of clothes based on comfort and the essentials. The keyword being COMFORT!!!
