Zoi Florosz is an award-winning filmmaker, and a versatile singer, actress & dancer. A classically trained singer, with concerts, performances around the world (USA, from Carnegie Hall to Birdland, Dubai, Paris Fashion Week, France, Athens , Greece) musicals, crossover style, soundtrack for films. Her music includes opera, operata, light classical, crossover, musical theatre, jazz, chansons. Zoi is also a choreographer for musicals, (like Jungle Book), music videos, films. As a filmmaker from fine art music videos,cellphone shorts, dance films to documentaries, PBS Specials, short and feature films. She has worked as a producer, director, DP, editor, choreographer. Awards : Angel Film Awards Monaco International Film Festival, Winter Film Awards, New York, Bridges International Film Festival, Toronto International Film festival & The Warsaw Film Festival. Zoi’s experience, passion and understanding for music and dance gives her a special perspective on how it translates to digital media.
Zoi graduated from Classical Music Conservatory Pecs classical flute division, the Academy of Film & Theatre Budapest as an actress, Liszt Ferenc Music Academy Budapest Jazz voice divison, American Musical and Dramatic Academy New York musical theatre division, and concluded her studies at Digital Film Academy in New York. She is a classically trained, versatile performer performing concerts and performances around the world.
Zoi performs regularly in Birdland NYC, at La Mama Experimental Theatre, and in Carnegie Hall in some legendary performances. She has also performed in different theatres in NYC like the Riant Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Source.
She travels around the USA and Europe performing at The Paris Fashion Week, Tiffany’s Paris Fashion Week, the French Riviera Cannes, at the Marche du Film paralel to Cannes Film Festival, Tiffany’s red Carpet Fashion Week Cannes, at World Peace Initiative Peace and Tolerance Gala at the Carlton Hotel Cannes. She has also performed in Dubai at Tiffany’s Fashion Week Dubai’s events, at the Award Gala of Bridges International Film Festival, Napflio, Greece. Zoi enjoys singing at film soundtracks as the relationship between music and visuals is an exciting inspiration for her. has She received several musical awards from film festivals, like “Best Original Music” for her short “Syrinx at Global Short Film Awards, “Best Original Soundtrack” for “Ame a Roma-I am a Gypsy” at Angel Film Awards Monaco International Film Festival 2021. “Best Musical Performance” for “Time to say goodbye” at International Cellphone Cinema Showcase Cannes 2024. On stage her favorite roles are Josephine Baker in “My Love , Josephine”, Ka in Jungle Book, Aldonza in “Man of La Mancha”, Medea in “Medea”.
