Are you an author? Is your heritage from the Indian subcontinent?
The Indo-American Arts council is now accepting submissions for our third annual literary festival. We are looking for vibrant and thought-provoking literature in all genres. The IAAC is committed to the promotion of literary arts from the Indian Subcontinent(India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan). Our previously featured authors include Salman Rushdie, Madhur Jaffrey, Shashi Tharoor, Bapsi Sidwa, Javed Akhtar, Suketu Mehta, Ramchandra Guha, Anand Giridharadas, William Dalrymple. Ayad Akhtar, Raghu Karnad and many more.
The literary festival is open to writers of all genres. Authors are not limited to being from the Indian subcontinent. Writers from across the globe whose work has been inspired by this muti-faceted continent are invited to participate.
