he Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council Film Fest 2009 (MIAAC 09) has announced its lineup. The opening-night selection will be David Kaplan's "Today's Special," based on the play by "Daily Show" correspondent Aasif Mandvi. The centerpiece will be Santosh Sivan's "Tahaan" and the closing-night selection will be scribe/helmer Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's "The Endless Wait." Fest includes 10 U.S. premieres and the world premiere of Nandini Sikand and Alexia Pritchard's "Soma Girls." MIAAC 09 plays Nov. 11-15.
