Hey Guys:
How's it going? I know it’s been a while since my last blog, but I wanted to tell you about the MAHINDRA INDO-AMERICAN ARTS COUNCIL (MIAAC) FILM FESTIVAL coming up from November 11 through the 15th. Since ANALOG DIGITAL INTL, INC., has been a proud sponsor of the MIAAC Festival for many years now, I decided to give Oprah a run for her money and interview Mr. Somi Roy, MIAAC's Festival Director.
Somi gave a splendid & informative interview, I couldn't ask for anything more, but his rider was a mile long. Since we were on an Indie budget, Somi's request for Champagne & Caviar was discreetly replaced with Pizza and Tap Water (I hope he didn’t notice). Working with my staff was a nightmare. Helen did my fur and makeup; thanks to her I looked like “The Donald”! Peter worked the camera and lights. As you can see, he didn’t shoot my good side because he was too busy worrying about lunch. Ayres dropped in on my interview for a quick chat but he forgot to leave and just rambled on and on. Oh the horror!
Somi thank you for putting up with us. I appreciate you taking time from your hectic schedule to come and fill us in on this year’s MIAAC Film Fest. As everyone knows, THE MAHINDRA INDO-AMERICAN ARTS COUNCIL (MIAAC) FILM FESTIVAL is all about glamour, glitz, celebrities, and the best of films & panels.
MIAAC’s Opening Night is on November 11, 2009 at the Paris Theatre where they will be screening "TODAY'S SPECIAL" and continue through November 15, with a great line up of films, panels and best of all, their parties. Please visit their website at www.miaacfilmfest.org for more information and film schedule. I hope to see you all on the red carpet. I’ll be there dressed to the nines.
Cheers,
Ollie |
